Johnson City's Custom Cabinet Makers
Handcrafted kitchen, bath, and storage solutions made to order right here in Johnson City. Every piece carries the patience of a craftsman and the precision of modern design.
About Us
York Custom Cabinets was founded on a simple conviction: the spaces you live in every day deserve the same care and attention you'd give a work of art. We don't sell stock cabinets from a catalog. Every drawer, door, and frame is designed and assembled in our Johnson City shop — to your specifications, in your timeline, with materials we'd be proud to install in our own homes.
From the first sketch to the final installation, you work directly with the people who build your cabinets. No middlemen. No surprises. Just honest craftsmanship and a result that feels like it was always meant to be there.
What We Do
Whether you're renovating a single room or building from the ground up, we bring the same standard of detail to every project — big or small.
The heart of your home, redesigned. From shaker-style classics to sleek modern lines, we design kitchens that are as functional as they are beautiful — with soft-close drawers, smart storage, and finishes that stand up to real life.
A bathroom renovation starts with the right foundation. We build vanities that balance elegance with moisture resistance — solid hardwoods, premium hardware, and countertops that turn your daily routine into something you look forward to.
Closets, mudrooms, home offices, pantries — where storage meets design. We transform awkward corners and underused space into custom solutions that keep your home organized and your aesthetic intact.
The right surface changes everything. We partner with local fabricators to offer granite, quartz, and solid-surface options that complement your cabinetry — with edges, cutouts, and seams handled so you never have to think about it.
Not sure where to start? Our design team works with you to translate your vision into a plan — selecting materials, layouts, and hardware that fit your space, your style, and your budget. No pressure, no guesswork.
Older cabinets don't have to be replaced. We repair damaged drawers, refinish worn surfaces, replace hardware, and restore the character of historic homes with the same care we bring to new builds.

How It Works
We've streamlined the process so you know exactly what to expect at every step — no hidden fees, no delays, no confusion.
Tell us about your space, your style, and your timeline. We'll visit your home, take measurements, and discuss what's possible.
We create detailed plans and material selections tailored to your project. You review, we refine — until every detail is exactly right.
Your cabinets are built in our Johnson City shop by the same craftsmen who signed off on the design. We don't rush this part.
We handle the installation — leveling, fitting, finishing touches. Then we walk you through everything and make sure you're thrilled.
